Re-designing the website of one of London’s top tourist attractions.
The Shard is Western Europe’s tallest building and The View from The Shard is a premium visitor attraction at the top, which offers unparalleled views across London.
The previous website did not align with The View from The Shards’ mission to be recognised as a 5-star, iconic attraction.
Pitted against some of the UK’s top agencies, we won the pitch for the re-design. The challenge was not only to bring the website up-to-date, but also to redevelop the ticketing process to improve sales.
My role was to create a seamless customer experience by designing templates and a suite of icons that portrayed the premium nature of the attraction itself. I incorporated the use of angular components within the design, which reflected the architecture of the building.
