An interactive experience, sharing the art & alchemy of The Balvenie
The Balvenie is a range of single malt whiskies, founded in 1892 in Dufftown Scotland by William Grant & Sons.
We were approached by The Balvenie to help them facilitate their hugely interesting and inspirational story. Subsequently we proposed an immersive online storytelling experience, influenced by the likes of The Guardian’s ‘Firestorm’ and The New York Times ‘Snow Fall’.
The Balvenie story is narrated through a six minute long video, divided into three main sections: the history, the making and the tasting. Within these sections, we encourage the viewer to learn more about the story by scrolling down the page when prompted.
Below are example’s of the subpages I developed to help explore different elements of the story. The design was adapted around the breadth of charming assets, which The Balvenie invited us to use.
